Investing in Our Communities

Apply for Our Microgrant

The SeattleCU Foundation is proud to announce the launch of our Investing in our Communities microgrant program.

These small but powerful grants are designed to support individuals and organizations leading efforts to build and strengthen communities across WA state.

What We Fund

Investing in Our Communities microgrants support community-based projects that are:

  • Locally rooted - designed by and for the community they serve.

  • Inclusive - focused on engaging historically excluded or underrepresented groups.

  • Impactful - strengthening community connections, well-being, or access to resources.

  • Ready to go - able to launch or be completed by the end of 2025.

Examples may include:

  • Neighborhood gatherings or community-building events

  • Youth engagement or empowerment projects

  • Financial education or resource-sharing workshops

  • Mental health or well-being meetings rooted in community

  • Projects that reduce isolation or increase belonging

Please Note: Investing in Our Communities microgrants are intended to support projects that build and strengthen communities. These grants are not intended to fund fundraising events, galas, or general sponsorships.
